Ally is a woman who has many ex-boyfriends who turned out to be losers. Now she believes that she can’t find a good guy. But when she runs into one of her exes who is now a ‘Prince Charming’, she decides to look up all of her exes to see if any of them have changed for the better. And when she has trouble locating them, she asks her neighbor Colin, who sleeps with women every night and sneaks out the morning after to avoid talking to them, to help her.

Film Review

I am not really a fan of Anna Faris. I've seen her acting in previous comedy films, where she will ALWAYS be that idiot blonde girl. What's Your Number brings a totally different persona of Anna Faris – which I started to like. In this movie, she is the lead actor who has a problem of having had sex with too many guys, but still does't have a steady bf, yet. So in order not to adding up the number, she decided to track back all of her previous ex's hoping to get steady with one of them.In the process, she was helped by her next door neighbor, Chris Evan, and in that process, they start to fall to each other. There are some realllllyyyyy cliché scenes like where they play a "strip" basketball (rolleyes). Really? But anyways overall the movie is quite entertaining for me.

I'm a little surprised at the mediocre reviews here. This is the first genuinely funny hetero romcom I've seen in a long, long time. It's not the average chick flick with the female lead looking for Mr. Perfect, being dumped by Mr. I Thought He Was Perfect, or winning back Mr. Are You Sure He's Worth The Trouble? And so on. I have been uninspired by most of the recent chick flicks starring Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Anniston. I must say I have not yet watched the infamous BRIDESMAIDS, but I look ahead to it. If women can be as funny and as charming as Anna Faris was in this movie, then maybe people will begin seeing the "chick flick" in a new light. Ally looks for her past boyfriends after reading a ridiculous article about how women who have had more than 20 lovers are unlikely to find a man who will see her as wifely material. Sounds as lame as any chick flick can be, and it would be, if not for Faris' comic genius. She is teamed up with Chris Evan…

The good:This is a Comedy/Romance (chick flick). It is a good movie well acted, well thought out & the scenes & locations are well picked…. so don't watch the trailer before you watch the movie, that would be a waste of your time.. & you would cause you to think less of the movie… The trailer kills the movie.. I think that's why this movie got such poor ratings! Trailer's are so much more important than people give them credit for, they prepare you to look at a movie in a certain way… instead of looking at it objectively or for the work that is there, or how it makes you feel.I came away from this movie feeling good about it, & myself (which is what a movie is supposed to do). It is well worth your time to see. If you have already seen the trailer, then do yourself a favor, get the movie and put it away as if you have already seen it, watch it later when you can't remember what it is about, & you'll appreciate it more.Take a litt…
